I
love tomatoes.
Less
because of how they taste, and more because of what they mean to me.
See,
growing up, my family has always had a garden. My mother and I, every spring,
would plant tomato plants. Tons of them. And then in the fall, we would make
sauce and chilli.
My
mom traveled a lot when I was younger. I was raised mostly by my father. But
gardening and making tomato sauce is one of my favorite memories with her.
Tomatoes
are delicious.
Challenge
to my Readers:
Sometimes
it’s not what things are, it’s what they mean.
