Day Two Hundred and Forty Nine: Southern Literature

Say what?
I love southern writers. Flannery O’Conner, Lillian Smith, even Faulkner (a little bit.)
I really like the old Southern Classics (don’t tell anyone about my very tattered copy of Gone with the Wind. And yes, I cry every time. Also, Look Homeward Angel; long, boring and beautiful.)
There is something about the writing of those authors that makes me feel all tingly inside.
Although, most books make me feel tingly.

Challenge to my Readers:

Everyone has a book they’ve read over and over (even if that just means twice.) Embrace it.
