I am an
adventurous soul.
Today my
future roommates and I, (Taylor and Madison) took it upon ourselves to drive
all the way out to Lakewood to find a couch, only to realize that it didn’t fit
in the back of our truck. We had a small, but triumphant adventure that ended
with us at Wendy’s giggling like Chinese school girls skipping class.
Taking chances and taking risks are a big
part of my life. As I may have mentioned before, I’m moving into a new
apartment. This is a big new adventure for me and Taylor and Madison. Some of
my adventures are smaller, like couch collecting. Any time you are unsure of the outcome, you’re going on an adventure.
I’ve traveled
to different countries by myself and other states all alone. I took the dive
into a long term relationship with my boyfriend and never regretted it. All I
can say to people who worry about the outcome is that if you never jump, you’ll
never land. And yeah, there is something to be said about waiting until you’re
ready and waiting until you’re prepared or waiting until you have enough money
and so on and so forth. But there is
also something to be said about letting life prepare you instead of preparing
yourself for life.
Challenge to
my Readers:
Take an
adventure today. Drive down a road you’ve never been down before, visit that
tea shop you’ve never had the time to visit. Eat that food you’ve always wanted
to try. Ask out the guy, the girl, the person you’ve been drooling over since
first grade.
