Day One Hundred and Thirty Three: Spreading Tolerance

I spoke too soon.
Just when I thought my owners would never go for something like a pro-LGBT sign in my shop, they surprised me. What you have to know about my owners is that they have always come across as super conservative. I know who they voted for in the last election and it wasn’t the guy who won, I won’t tell you more than that.
My owner came in today. We started talking about the rainbow cake and why I did it. Then my owner was like “Why don’t you just make a cake like all those pictures on facebook?”

So I did. I have to say it looks pretty good.
So, I’m proud of my owners for demonstrating that no matter what side of the political line you fall on, you should care about everyone. Our company believes that everyone deserves the right to love whoever they love. They want to put the cake up on the website and everything, which I think is a pretty big deal.

Challenge to my Readers:
Stand up for people. Just do it. Like Nike, but without the child labor.
