Day Three Hundred and One: Good fish owner

I’ve talked a lot about how I’m a good dog owner. I clean up Ecco’s poop and take him for walks and all sorts of stuff. But Ecco also has a brother. His name is Ethan and he is a Betta fish. I’ve had him for nearly two years now. Which is crazy for me because fish usually die after a few months for me.
Ethan was a gift from my roommate and best friend, Madison. She got him for me because I had a dream that she got me a fish named Ethan. She’s a firm believer in making these premonitions come true.

Anyway, Ethan had been looking a little green around the gills, so to say. I asked Tony, my friend who works at the aquarium, what I should do. He suggested a bigger tank, a bubbler and some medicine for him. So that’s what I did; I got Ethan a tank about twice the size of his previous tank and it has a bubbler, a light and I got him some medicine.
I love my fish and I want to take care of him and keep him for a long, long time.

Challenge to my Readers:

All life deserves to be respected. Treat it well.
