I
love the rain.
Colorado
has been freakishly rainy this year. As a long time resident, I can tell you
that this means our winter will be the worst yet. Wet summer, wicked cold
winter. Better get those snow tires out people, you’re going to need them.
On
that note, I love the rain. No, it’s not just the author in me (people are
imagining me right now curled up next to a rain splashed with a cup of coffee
and an extra large sweater while I write.) I think growing up in a desert state
has made me very appreciative of rain. Especially after another long summer of
fighting wildfires in the highlands.
Hopefully
next year all this rain will come early and prevent some of those wildfires.
